What We Do
HASTANU tackles the pressing challenges of nutrient-deficient rice and low productivity among smallholder farmers in Indonesia. We produce premium, nutrient-rich rice through a sustainable land intensification model that integrates superior rice variety, precision agriculture, climate-smart innovations, and ecosystem-based farming practices. In addition to working with active farmlands, we also revitalize abandoned and underutilized land, turning it into productive rice-growing areas—contributing to increased food production without expanding farmland. Through blending advanced technology with community-based farm management, we restore soil health, increase farming efficiency, and ensure a reliable supply of high-quality rice. We collaborate closely with farmers, cooperatives, and value chain partners to raise farmer incomes, regenerate agricultural landscapes, and deliver healthier, traceable rice products to the market.
Farm Management
HASTANU provides end-to-end farm management services designed to help farmers achieve higher productivity, profitability, and sustainability. Our services span every stage of the rice production cycle—from land preparation, seed selection, and precision input application to water management, pest control, and harvest optimization. We leverage data-driven tools such as satellite imagery, soil testing, and climate prediction models to guide efficient and environmentally responsible farming practices. Agricultural Consulting
HASTANU offers specialized agricultural consulting services to support the transition toward more productive, climate-resilient, and sustainable farming systems.
